Hermosa Beach, CA’s CHAOS DELIVERY MACHINE will release their sophomore record, Burn Motherfucker Burn, on July 10th via Hardline Entertainment.

The record will be available digitally, as well as on vinyl and CD, on July 10th via Hardline Entertainment. Information regarding pre-orders will be announced shortly.

A track off the record (“The New Testament”) is available as a FREE download here.

Created by former 98 Mute band mates Jason Page (guitarist/music) and Justin Thirsk (throat/drummer/ words), whose older brother, Jason Thirsk (R.I.P.), was the founding member and former lyricist/bassist of Pennywise, the lineup is rounded out by Pennywise co-founder and guitarist Fletcher Dragge (co-throat/bass/producer.)

The trio has crafted an album that has taken an exhausting and life-threatening journey of over 8 years to complete. These three longtime friends wrote and recorded the record during their time off because they love playing together and enjoy getting into the studio to go crazy whenever they can.

Burn Motherfucker Burn is CHAOS DELIVERY MACHINE’S second release and the follow up to their 2005 album, Manifesto.

About CHAOS DELIVERY MACHINE:

CHA OS (ka os), n. a state of utter confusion or disorder.

DE LIV ER Y( di liv’er y), n. the act or manner of giving or sending forth.

MA CHINE (me shen’), n. an apparatus consisting of interrelated parts with separate functions, used in the performance of some kind of work.

Whatever feats, trials, or sufferings you’ve recorded in the pages of your biography that you point to as testaments of the mettle by which you measure your quality, accept now these crucibles merit you absolutely nothing of value. Throw all of that shit away. To bend an ear to the noise would annihilate everything you think you know and believe about your life and the sphere of existence in which that story is set. Indeed, it would provoke a moral, philosophical, and intellectual devolution too sudden and irreversible to conceive. This will uncover the great sham of petty notions like “person,” “self,” and “civilization,” unraveling 20,000 generations worth of “evolution” from dung-flinging chimp to homo sapien wastrel in 45 minutes of cacophony. This is the sophomore album that has taken 87,613 hours to complete and is titled BURN MOTHERFUCKER BURN which they hope your mind and soul and every fiber of your being along with the rest of this sick and pitiful world will do immediately after the first listen. Verily, this is but the reflection in your mirror: a primate with a hat and a lengthy vocabulary who sees not his toes are at the brink of the abyss.

Though you may abide by the aforementioned caveat and heed well its admonition, such measures will only fractionally postpone the unthinkable inevitable already taking shape before you. You will have to come to the horrifying truth eventually. Sure, you may triumph in avoiding so many moons by cutting the ears off your head or storing your frozen face in the long sleep of a cryogenic vat, but the reality of the matter is that you will be ultimately hunted down and devoured whole.

How could one respond to the One Truth? O you marked for death—know by name the left-handed trinity that are Doomsday’s harbingers. Guitarist Jason Page, bassist and co-throat, Mr. Fletcher Dragge and lead throat/drummer, Justin Thirsk dig up the bones of your soul’s dreams and pummel them to dust. There is a grim and horrifying reality to this world, which humankind has struggled to comprehend for thousands of years, and what those unlucky few of us who already know have tried desperately to forget.

Let shame become you! After the eons-long gurgle in the primeval waters, you flopped inelegantly on primitive flippers from the Precambrian seas, then stretched your limbs and made yourself upright to build towers for gazing at the stars. Now make disgrace your song, for from those high battlements you made a heaven of the sky, and seated gods on celestial thrones that your eyes could not see. You authored your own Creators and crowned yourselves masters of the realm beneath them, all the while forgetting what you were and from where you came: microbial phlegm flung indiscriminately and unceremoniously into the acid pools of a floating rock by the ever-indifferent hand of Time. Now the fantasy is too repulsive to bear any longer. What pitiful creatures you have become, arrogant and delusional. To think all that DNA of yours has fought and battled through epochs and Ice Ages to culminate into this grotesquely plastic, self-adulating, sociopathic asswipe, willfully detached from the reality you deny you inhabit. The lie cannot be tolerated any longer. We are all great frauds of humanity and will be pulverized and sundered.

Life as it truly is: a corn husk on the threshing floor, a cattle carcass in the slaughterhouse, a moth in the spider web and the sullen truth is now revealed. We usher in the long overdue denouement to the great farce that is humankind. T. S. Eliot was gravely wrong: the world does not end with a whimper, it ends with a gurgle—in a steaming pile of shit.

AUTHORITY ZERO Release Video For LIFT ONE UP!

[fblike]
Mesa, Arizona’s influential punk veterans Authority Zero have just released their new video for “Lift One Up” off their current release “The Tipping Point” Out Now on Hardline Entertainment https://hardlineent.com/store. Catch the band on their upcoming RISE TO THE FALL US TOUR!

It’s finally here! Back in early 2014 we put out the concept of doing a “Shakeface” video for our latest single Lift One Up off The Tipping Point. The song embraces the concept of celebration of life, friendships, and the music that brings us all together in celebration of just that. The concept was meant to involve people from all around the world and so we asked everyone to send us in their “Shakeface” videos. The driving force behind it was to make our fans and friends the biggest part of the video and what it represented. Good times, good friends, and letting loose. Unfortunately many of the videos we received we unusable due to quality or misunderstanding, so rather than exclude anyone for that purpose, we’ve chosen to do two versions of the video. Here is the video we shot on location in Tempe, Arizona with the full on show combined with all our local friends and family doing the “Shakeface” and getting rad at the show that day. Jason broke a rib that day during performance (which we decided to leave in for fun), people were damn near passing out, and everyone had a killer time. A huge thank you from all of us to you for attending and making it possible! Shortly after the release of this video we will be also releasing a full on “Shakeface” video with every single video (regardless of quality or filming) in it! So here it is! After months of editing, re-editing, and conceptual changes, we present you with our Official Video Premier For “Lift One Up”!
Enjoy, Jason Devore

NATIONS AFIRE Debut Video For “BREAK YOUR FALL” at Revolvermag.com!

[fblike]

Los Angeles, CA – So-Cal rock band Nations Afire has premiered a new video for their song “Break Your Fall” today at RevolverMag.com. The track is featured on the band’s latest record, The Ghosts We Will Become, which is available now on iTunes and from Hardline Entertainment at www.HardlineEnt.com/store.

Watch Nations Afire’s new video for “Break Your Fall” now at RevolverMag.com: http://www.revolvermag.com/?p=63206

Nations Afire’s video for “Break Your Fall” was directed by the band’s bassist Brett Rasmussen and Timmy Lunsford, filmed by Exit House Films, edited by Lunsford and shot in the band’s hometown of Los Angeles.

“We wanted to shoot the video in the middle of the night in downtown LA to show the beauty of the city after dark,” Rasmussen explains. “We shot the video over a couple nights between the hours of 12am-4am, it was basically a ghost town at that point and we could just wander around anywhere and capture some really cool images. Having Nik walk through the city on his way to rehearsal was a cool way to showcase the city scape of LA at night. Most musicians rehearse late at night, which is a pretty unique thing about being in a band, usually people go to work at 9am and are inside all day. Musicians typically start rehearsing late at night when the rest of the world is sleeping.”

“The song “Break Your Fall” is written directly from my experience growing up with my little band of friends and compatriots,” adds singer Nik Hill. “We dreamed big and fucked each other over and picked each other up so many times it shaped the men we became. The music and the lifestyle we led was reckless but it gave us purpose and a possible future, some of us made it out and some of us did not. The words in this song are an homage to the most influential time of my life, and a bond that will always be there, no matter where we all would land.”

Comprised of former guitarist for Rise Against, Chris Chasse, vocalist/guitarist Nik Hill and bassist Brett Rasmussen of OC hardcore band Ignite and ex-Death By Stereo drummer Todd Hennig, Nations Afire are an alternative rock band from Los Angeles.  Their latest record, The Ghosts We Will Become, features incendiary rock-radio anthems like “I Am An Army,” “Nine Lives,” and  “The Ghost We Will Become.” The video for “Break Your Fall” is their fourth and final video from the album. The band will begin working on new material for their next release soon.

TBG_Pre-Sale_Image

In anticipation of The Bunny Gang’s sophomore record, Thrive will be released on September 23rd via Hardline Entertainment! The Southern California based label has launched a pre-sale contest which gives purchasers a chance to win a Fender Guitar with hard case, a pair of Lakai skate shoes or a Blatant skate deck! Purchasers will also get an advance track off the album, “Sirens Through The City”, which is available as a FREE DOWNLOAD via Hardline Entertainment’s most recent label Compilation.

The 11-track album was recorded at Sonic Ranch Studios in El Paso, TX with Producer Ryan Hewitt (Sheryl Crow, The Avett Brothers).

The band, which is fronted by Flogging Molly’s Nathen Maexwell, plays music that crosses the lines of rock, punk and reggae.

About The Bunny Gang

Nathen Mawell has the word Revolution tattooed prominently on his left wrist. However, It’s more than just a word for The Bunny Gang frontman and Flogging Molly bassist.

“It’s a sign of what time it is,” he affirms. “Revolution must be peaceful, nonviolent, and conscious. I think it can mean something different to everybody though. There can be a million interpretations, and that’s the wonderful thing about it.”

The Bunny Gang’s sophomore full-length, “Thrive” stands built on creative revolution. Transcending musical boundaries, The Bunny Gang Organically strut between alternative, folk, punk and reggae. Following up 2009’s acclaimed “White Rabbit,” it’s a tight and thought-provoking combination that makes for an irresistible sonic brew.

In order to stir up the eleven songs comprising the album, the gang retreated to Sonic Ranch in El Paso, TX with producer Ryan Hewitt (Sheryl Crow, The Avett Brothers). Tapping into an indescribable chemistry, the entire offering was cut in less than a week.

“The bands name comes from a punk rock crew I grew up with in the South Bay of Los Angeles called The Original Bunny Gang or OBG PUNX.  After playing with several great musicians, including my father Maxwell and my first ever bandmate Mike Peralta, in 2012, I met an amazing hearted and like- minded human being in Nat Lort-Nelson. He was the glue. There’s a deep history, and we share a philosophical outlook. We believe art should say something.”

That’s exactly what songs like the first single, “Sirens Through City,” do. Co-written with Scott Abels (Jimmy Cliff, The Aggrolites, Tim Armstrong & numerous other acclaimed artists) the song skates from a soulful riff into a poetic melody, it’s a personal and poignant rumination from the singer. He also encloses a hopeful message inside of the track.

“I wrote that song when I was living in Harbor City, which is a rough town in South Los Angeles,” he recalls. “I was literally sitting on the corner and hearing police sirens every night. At the same time, it’s a song of hope and making it out of the ghetto and thriving. If people could dream bigger and step outside of their bubble, they’d realize the world is a beautiful place.”

Elsewhere on the record, the energetic “Uprise Underground” appeals to revolutionaries everywhere, urging an awakening, while questioning the status quo. The Bunny Gang then floats down the river on “Illegal Market” co-written with Dennis Casey (Flogging Molly). This is an iridescent jam that showcases the bands love of Cumbia as well as a cry for social equality.

Ultimately, anybody who takes this ride with The Bunny Gang will feel that progression. “Life, art, and music are all evolution,” he concludes.  It sounds like revolution is just up head for The Bunny Gang.
